Stevens XPA

A fantastic combination of a traditional malts, paired with two fantastic hops, Citra and Strata, to create a wonderful Golden Ale.

James Stevens was a successful Hop Grower based in Farnham. So successful, he had to hire armed servants to help transport his prized hops around the country, as well as keeping his large sums of money safe on his return journey. And as such, other local hop farmers trusted James Stevens with their hard earned cash, keeping it safe on their behalf. This eventually led James Stevens in opening one of Farnham's first banks, Stevens & Co, in 1804, on Castle Street.

James Stevens sold his bank to another successful hop grower and farmer, George Knight, in around 1830.
